Hello! My name is Manuella and I am a multi-genre photographer originally from Brazil, currently based on the Gold Coast in Australia. My work ranges from portraiture, family and sport photography, to commercial and food photography. I am very curious about the unknown, and always strive to improve my craft.
My background and experiences are unique, having been a pharmacist, biochemist, microbiologist, traveler and storyteller. While photography wasn’t my first career, I have always loved it. This “hobby” became increasingly important in my life about 8 years ago; my love of people and interest in learning the stories of others created a real passion in me about creating experiences through images. That’s why my photos are all about capturing connections between people and love. No matter if their love is for their family, business, sport, or themselves.
I believe it is important to capture the true spirit and personality of that which is being photographed, to build strong relationships with them and to also deliver high quality images.
